presentation sheet

I produced a presentation sheet describing the different stages of my development work, and how I created my final piece. I tried to clearly lay out every photo so that it is easy to understand each stage. I could have improved on a few things such as including artist research, showing the original object from where my idea came from, and also listing the materials of how tables are made.

My strongest images are the last two of my table photoshopped in different locations. I think I executed this quite well, and looks professional. On the other hand, I think my development sheets of my drawings were quite poor, as they seem basic and slightly rushed; I could have improved them by producing stronger drawings, and showing the different stages of how the table has been put together.
I feel that the overall product was well produced, as it's a modern and contemporary design, with simplistic clean lines.

useful objects

I did a drawing of my geometric sculpture, and traced it, but changed the drawing by rubbing out certain parts, and adding other shapes so that it can be created into a useful object. For the image above, I added a table top, and beneath it is the geometric shape which is meant to hold the table up. By improving this drawing I think I could have added shading to create a 3 dimensional effect, and to also show how the table is put together, and which materials could be used to make this table. Overall I feel this is an interesting and contemporary design.
Here I have created a shelving unit, which is also inspired by my geometric sculpture. I changed the shapes slightly by enlarging some of the triangles to create this unusual design. I also added legs at the bottom which helps the structure to stand up. But I think I could have drawn the legs slightly larger so that they are strong enough to hold the shelving unit.
